Visit Greater Palm Springs Welcomes New Seasonal Flights by Porter Airlines from Toronto to PSP

Visit Greater Palm Springs welcomes Porter Airlines’ non-stop flights to Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) from Toronto-Pearson International Airport (YYZ) this December. The new, winter seasonal service will begin on December 12 with three weekly flights.

“We are thrilled to welcome Porter Airlines’ new nonstop seasonal service between Palm Springs and Toronto,” says Scott White, president & CEO of Visit Greater Palm Springs. “This exciting new service from Porter not only strengthens the connection between our two vibrant regions but also provides an exceptional opportunity for travelers to experience the unique beauty, culture, and hospitality of Greater Palm Springs. We look forward to sharing our sunny skies and beautiful desert oasis with our friends from Toronto and beyond.”

“Adding Porter Airlines to our growing roster of carriers is a fantastic development for Palm Springs International Airport,” states Harry Barrett, Jr., executive director, Palm Springs International Airport. “This new service to Toronto not only enhances our international reach but also offers passengers a seamless travel option with Porter’s renowned onboard hospitality. Our partnership further elevates PSP as a premier travel hub, offering passengers convenient travel options to anywhere in the world.”

When flying Porter, passengers enjoy a level of genuine onboard hospitality. The elevated economy experience starts with a selection of premium snacks, plus free beer and wine served in glassware included with every ticket, for everyone.

“Adding Palm Springs to our network means a new option for passengers to enjoy Porter’s genuine onboard hospitality when planning their trips,” says Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines. “Our presence across the continent continues to grow, with a network of flights that provides real competitive choices for travelers.”

The route will be operated with the brand-new Embraer E195-E2. Its signature two-by-two configuration means there are no middle seats on any Porter flight. The 132-seat aircraft is also equipped with fast and free WiFi for all passengers, offering the freedom to stream, surf the web, and stay in touch from gate to gate.

Priority check-in and boarding, extra legroom seats, premium pre-mixed cocktails, and fresh, healthy meals are also available with the all-inclusive PorterReserve fares or may be purchased à la carte with PorterClassic fares.
