One of Ghana’s finest musicians, Shatta Wale who is known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah has dismissed his longtime manager, Bullgod formerly Bulldog from his Shatta Movement Camp.
Bulldog’s dismissal came weeks after he was detained by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly threatening the life of President Akufo-Addo on live television show.
Bulldog whose real name is Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson has since been replaced by one Mr Nana Kojo Owusu Koranteng who is less known in the entertainment industry.
“Management of SHATTA MOVEMENT RECORDS wishes to inform the general public that from this day, 26th January, 2021 onwards Mr Nana Kojo Owusu Koranteng (Nana Dope) would be responsible for the release of information concerning our artiste Mr Charles Nii Armah Mensah (SHATTA WALE) and the Shatta movement to the general public,” part of the press release which was signed by Shatta Wale himself reads.
It is not yet known what may have led to the decision by Shatta Movement records to drop Bulldog from the SM team.
However, social media users who shared their views of the press release believe that Bullgod’s open involvement in politics in recent times is what informed the decision to drop him from the SM camp.
