RYANAIR CELEBRATES 30 YEARS AND 30 MILLION PASSENGERS AT PRESTWICK AIRPORT

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, has celebrated carrying 30 million passengers through Prestwick in its 30 years of operations. Ryanair was the first low-cost airline to operate at Prestwick, starting with its first flight from Dublin Airport back in 1994.

Ryanair now operates 10 routes to/from Prestwick, connecting 3 countries across Europe with its 2 Prestwick based aircraft – an investment of $200m and supporting over 500 local jobs, including 60 high-paid, high-skilled aviation jobs.

This Summer Ryanair is operating over 80 weekly flights to/from Prestwick, spanning 10 routes including Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Murcia, Pisa and Tenerife, providing customers with unbeatable choice at the lowest fares when booking their Summer ’24 getaways.
