The Appointments Committee of Parliament is today vetting some Ministers-designate who will serve in President Akufo-Addo’s second term.
First to appear before the Committee, are Ministers-designate for Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, and National Security, Albert Kan-Dapaah.
This, Haruna Iddrisu, the ranking member of Parliament’s Appointment Committee has explained is to enable the Health Minister to get to work as the country’s Covid-19 cases surges.
However, the Chairman of the Appointments Committee, Joseph Osei Owusu has hinted that the Minister-designate for Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum is likely to also appear before them today.
