Buffet restaurant 1900 Park Fare will soon return to Disney’s Grand Floridian

1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa reopened on April 10.

Reservations opened on March 5 at the restaurant, which has been shuttered since the resort’s March 2020 closure.

Open for breakfast and dinner, the buffet-style restaurant will have some returning favorites like the strawberry soup as well as some new items, Disney said. Guests will be joined by several characters: Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana.

When the restaurant reopens, it will have a refurbished dining room. Big Bertha, the antique organ that has been located at the Grand Floridian since 1988, will be the centerpiece of the main dining room.

A carousel theme remains at the restaurant; carousel animals inspired by classic films like “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Little Mermaid” will be featured throughout. Disney artists have created 12 new portraits for the restaurant, all featuring Disney characters.

“At the heart of this unique restaurant is the magic and whimsy of turn-of-the-century gardens and fairgrounds, where people of all ages came together to enjoy each other’s company,” Disney said. “The spirit of those carefree days spent outdoors is brought to life with each detail big and small, making it the perfect place to create new memories with loved ones.”
